Both our hero and heroine are in their mid-thirties and raising a teenager as a single parent. Cooper returns to his hometown bringing his troubled daughter with him. Living next door is Priss a woman he remembers as a free spirit from highschool, and her son, Matt. The story revolves around the issue of date rape and vulnerability. Coop is definite hero material. Not only is he sexy and outrageous, but he has a sensitivity to understand more than what's presented. Priss is a heroine with a very big and painful secret that has scarred her more than she ever realized. Coop brings out that free spirit that she used to have. This is a heart warming love story with a very satisfying HEA.
